The Eiffel Tower is the symbol of Paris and France throughout the world, paying homage to it is always topical and this work, never before revealed to the public, will honor it in an unprecedented way. I am proud to bring these images out of my archives. I hope that their historical value will take its place in its History.

This serie "Acrobatic painters of the Eiffel Tower » is a report that I made on the painters of the Eiffel Tower, during the painting campaign of 1995. It has been a real pleasure to make this series, they have fully played the game during the shooting. Each one seemed proud to give me the best of himself by taking certain risks because the danger was very real at 300 meters from the ground! Maybe it was a game of seduction with me, the only woman among all these men? Who knows…

I will keep an unforgettable memory of this report on these painters of the Eiffel Tower.

Selon Gustave Eiffel: « On ne saurait trop se pénétrer du principe que la peinture est l’élément essentiel de la conservation d’un ouvrage métallique et que les soins qui y sont apportés sont la seule garantie de sa durée ». La tour Eiffel est le symbole de Paris et de la France à travers le monde, lui rendre hommage est toujours d’actualité et ce travail, jamais révélé au public, la mettra à l’honneur d’une façon inédite. Je suis fière de sortir ces images de mes archives et j'espère que leur valeur historique prendra sa place dans son Histoire.

Cette série « peintres acrobates de la Tour Eiffel » est un reportage que j’ai fait sur les peintres de la tour Eiffel, lors de la campagne de peinture de 1995. Ça a été un vrai plaisir de réaliser cette série, ils ont pleinement joué le jeu pendant les prises de vues. Chacun semblait fier de me donner le meilleur de lui-même en prenant certains risques car le danger était bien réel à 300 mètres du sol ! C'était peut-être un jeu de séduction avec moi, la seule femme parmi tous ces hommes :)

Je garderai un souvenir inoubliable de ce reportage sur ces artistes de l’extrême.
